Our Training Philosophy
When Dan was a college professor, he required his students find a
real client (for his accounting and information systems design course, his
computer audit course and his computer
security course). He believed that the only way for students to truly learn was
to “get out of the book and get into the real world.”
This hands-on
educational approach carried over to our professional training courses. So … in
almost
all of their
professional courses … the
student
brings a computer to class, the course is 100%
hands-on, and the student makes a classroom presentation … applying the
materials to actual business applications. This notion of "the student
becoming the teacher" closes the loop (knowledge transfer).
We realize that you are busy and we are
honored that you are giving us your precious time. We adhere to the notion that “the student must
be the key component to the learning experience." We are not
the sage on the stage; but rather the guide on the side.
Our training is
to the point! |
