Applied Business Statistics: BasicLet’s think back to your college days. NO … not the fun stuff. I’m talking about those business statistics classes that almost killed you. The course title was usually something like QBA (Quantitative Business Analysis). Remember, the course had a lot of statistics (you called them “sadistics”). You were probably using Mini-tab? Well, that class actually had a GREAT DEAL OF VALUABLE CONTENT. The problem is, at age 19 it’s sort of hard to apply a chi-squared test in a process control environment. Forget non-parametric statistics. Heteroskedasity? Kurtosis? YIKES! Well, what if … just what if … you could go back, and learn those proven techniques, again? But this time you’d have a lot of years of business experience to help you apply these tools. In this class we will (quickly) refresh your knowledge of basic statistical concepts. Then we move into a multitude of proven stat tests which get at “controlling and measuring the business of business.” Several business cases will be presented, showing WINS. THIS CLASS IS 100% HANDS-ON, WITH SEVERAL COMPUTERIZED CASES. WE CAN TEACH BOTH OFFICE 97-2003 AND 2007. |
